Helpdesks are older than you think...

Even medieval monks had to resort to helpdesks.  This little video (taken from a Norwegian television programme) shows how difficult it must have been upgrading from scrolls to books.

Is it possible to make this brighter. It is so dark the character and items cannot be seen.

Actually, if you go to the source youtube website there are a couple of versions posted that are much lighter and show a lot of detail. Unfortunately, they're not subtitled in English but they still make delightful viewing after watching the subtitled version.

Absolutely brilliant!
Not exactly the same thing, but along the same lines: yesterday I bought a designer-type thermos flask,smooth and classy, but no obvious way to open it. Eventually opened it with help of someone who had similar model, only to find the 'instructions how to open' neatly tucked inside.A joke perhaps?
