Convert LP's to CD's - like magic

The olden days...If you have a shelf of much loved, but no longer played, Vinyl LP's, this is for you.  In the February issue of The Oldie I show you how to turn them into nice shiny CD's, and I've posted a much longer explanation on this site, with links to more help.  Click here to read it.

Technically it's a simple process, although it takes a little setting up (involve a younger relative)  and you will have to buy a new lead to connect your turntable to the computer that does all the clever stuff.

However, it's well worth doing, and it is a real pleasure to hear all that music you've saved so carefully once again.  And then you can sell the old vinyl LP's on eBay, and make a fortune (perhaps).

Just click here for the whole story.

V interesting. Thanks. I am about to buy a new micro system, a PURE DMX 60. Sounds good CD and digital radio. Am told that my t.table can link to the Line in sockets and the unit has a memory card socket so seems to me I could record on to the memory card and then copy to CD if I want via the PC. Sound feasible?

Certainly does sound possible, but you may have difficulty dividing the tracks unless you use the right software on the computer.

But have a go - you can't do any harm.
