Can I back up my phone to a Chromebook?

Thanks for the very interesting article this month on Chromebook. It sounds ideal for me, but will I be able to back up my cellphone on it? Essential for me as I tend to lose them!

I'm not sure of the answer - it all depends on how you back your phone up.  In my case, I maintain my address book within Gmail, and whatever phone I have simply synchronises to that.

If you use a manual system, Chromebook may or may not do the job, but I'm sure it's possible somehow.
